Bio
I was born and raised in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, a relatively small town about 10 miles from Providence, RI. While growing up, my family and friends helped me develop a wide range of interests but especially sports, outdoor activities, wildlife, and travel. The majority of my time in youth and young adulthood was spent fishing, as well as playing football, basketball, golf, and other sports with my brothers and friends. I spent my summers in a sports camp where I had some great role models, and I eventually worked for the same camp where I was surprised to find that I enjoyed working with kids and teaching them new sports rules, strategies, and skills. I became an avid weightlifter at age 15 because I was one of the smallest kids in my class, and I wanted to be more competitive in several sports.
