Ok...this is my very first go at a Drum n Bass set... ever. I have never tried it before but after I started listening to some top quality mixes here on HM I just couldn't resist trying it out. Some of you guys blew my mind with your awesome sets...you all know who you are :D So bought a few tracks last week that appealed to me... really didn't have a damn clue what's hot and what's not, what's new or old lol. Lost lost lost...just went for those phat bass-lines hahaha Thanks Rob for sending me a few names...much appreciated bro :) This mix is far from what I would want it to be but had to work with what I've got ...and had to figure out how to mix it lol ...very different from my usual tech/techno. Must say I absolutely loved it, won't stop trying until I get it right :D Please drop me some feedback yeh.... I'm honestly still figuring out how to do proper transitions. I had just got a chance to take a minute and divulge into this, nothing else going on just me and the disco first d n b mix and HOLD UP, if this is your first than I am even more beyond blown away, i have said this to others but to be a good dj, with all the dj's in the world today and people that want to be dj's the first and foremost product is can the dj pick tracks and good choice of music, THATS A CHECK FOR YOU, 2nd can the dj then take those tracks and lay them out in an order to tell a story, CHECK YOU GOT IT THERE, 3rd can the story keep you captivated and intent to keep listening, CHECK YOU GOT IT THERE 4th can the story be told in a way where it doesn't sound like an I tunes playlist playing a track one after another with horrible transitions, CHECK YOU GOT IT THERE, i could keep going but NEXT AND MOST CRUCIAL CAN THE DJ GET NASTY WITH THE EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE IN FRONT OF THEM AND LAY IT DOWN NASTYYYYYYYYYY, well mr disco tyou been doing that and this again is CHECK YOU DOING IT, just a fantastic mix and glad i started my day off here today, and another dj in my handful on this site that captivates my mind and attention.......
