Where am i and what is this place?
I have been here before ,but has it really been 20 years ago ?
It's got this bullshit aura or mystique, a dark underworld feel , but i feel so home.People were taking this shitty brown stuff to come down from the ecstasy. But there was always the more mellow way – the slow pint of beer in a pub , and the music i was injecting in my system from so many different genres in the different pubs ,alleys and bedrooms.
The generation before that might have been heavy drinkers but in there was work in the shipyards, so they had a reason not to get wasted and listening and dancing to the music that was being playe din the pubs and clubs they crashed at.
The airport has gone through a lot of changes but Holyrood Park , Forth Road Bridge and of course The Cav all came back to me .This nightclub club located on West Tollcross, has a 60 year history and has a special place in the hearts of Edinburgh residents , and ended up in my heart as well.
With lots of winding closes, nooks and crannies, there's plenty of places to hide from a psychotic convict hell-bent on revenge.
Harvey Nichols Forth Floor (Its beautiful glass windows allow stunning panoramic views of the New Town and beyond) - , St Stephen's Stockbridge ,Regent Bridge , all made sense now ,and it all had an" Imagine After Party " feeling to choose them records that made my soundtrack for the night.
Have i got to wait another 20 years for the sequel?
