Oooo what an absolute treat, I absolutely loved this mix back when recorded it on the Isle of Man. Many CD copies were handed out to friends on the Island since were quite proud of it at the time and finally, we have managed to rip it off to a file so can upload for the first time ever!
Easter 2005 using Vinyl & most likely guzzling some Vino, this mix was one of my highlights for that era. Think this may even possibly be the mix Emma Quayle was asking for after I left the Island since her CD had stopped working…. Anyone on the Island still know her…can drop a message please…
Many favourites here, love all the tracks to be fair. This set reminds me of the regular bank crew drinking sessions up the road after finishing work on a Friday in “C’est La Vie”, All these tunes would have been played which was a perfect start to the weekend’s antics. A great feel good uplifting vibe with great friends.
The album cover here is the original CD sticker label I made. Much emphasis on the “Needle to the Groove” record shop where thanks to Steve Bell (https://www.djstevebell.com/candystore/), I sourced some superb, long lasting and classic Vinyl.
