An old session never released either online or handed out as a CD, this one sounds likely was recorded whilst living at Derby Road on the Isle of Man 2004/5 and was a session reliving the Candystore days of Plymouth.
The mixing was probably a decent reason to leave sat on a private CD for so long as leaves a lot to be desired but now, after around 20 years sat doing nothing, the vibes and tracks on it sound great & I’d like to stick into the collection online as a reminder of what funky house classics used to sound like. Perhaps I may try to recreate some of these old sessions at some point.
Many favourite tracks on this one, that “Beautiful People” was always a regular in the sets. “Shine On” however is probably my most favourite though am still lost as to what mix it is. I really need to go through each and every record at home to find this one, as never found online anywhere.
