Another mix from the vaults stored at my parents house. Can’t tell for sure on the year for this one although looking at the CD label, appears to be around 2004 which would mean whilst I had been staying at Wellington Street with the lads. The album cover top floor window on the left was my bedroom if I recall correctly where the magic happened!…”Magic” ;-)
Back than I used to go record shopping in Needle to the Groove at Frankfurt Gate, Plymouth, every weekend and this session appears to be one of those, get home with a bag of records & record a new session of the new purchases. Mostly light and soulful for this one and that “Beautiful Life” track was a firm favourite back than, first time I have heard it in years and love it now too, so might have to get some new update on that one. Love it. Vinyl makes a great difference to the sound too….
Some great early evening bar warm up tracks here, proper soulful sounds, just how I used to like it…At some point, I think am gonna have to ship this Vinyl collection out to Thailand, can just picture some Technics 1210 sunset sessions with this vibe!
20 years old this one... Released online for the first time ever to kickstart 2024 & what a great final track too, love it, a real South American Latino vibe....Bitcoin land in time for the halving this year.
