Wot no beat matching! Well yes there is a bit in the middle of the mix but otherwise it's mostly a down tempo, after hours mix with a soulful blues feel, some amazing piano and a couple of spiky bits for good measure.
The mix was inspired by the work of Moodyman but actually starts and ends with 2 tracks from 1403's debut album, I heard him perform with Sasha recently at the Refracted gigs and have had his tracks on play numerous times since.
The lack of beats makes for a tricky mix but hopefully it's smooth enough to feel the vibe. Hope you enjoy.
