In the 80s, the disco influenced house music genre emerged, and new life was breathed into disco-soul groups like First Choice, in this mix I’ve included their song "Love Thang".
In 1981, Hot Summer Night was released by Vicki Sue Robinson, an artist better known for her 1976 hit, "Turn the Beat Around".
The song "Love Injection" by Trussel was released as part of the album of the same name in March 1980, although the single gained popularity in the fall of 1979. It is recognized as one of the top disco records of its time.
Next we have two tracks from The Trammps, the first a cover of Rock The Boat a song that was a hit for The Hues Corporation, then "Body Contact Contract" is a song by The Trammps, released in 1976.
