So many lesser known gems here plus a great remix of Inner Life.

Central Line were a post-disco, pop and jazz-funk group, based in London, England. They recorded three albums for Mercury Records in the 1980s, and had two hit singles in the United States as well as one Top 40 success in their native country.

Jimmy Ross Also known as Mel Turner - Singer from Trinidad who teamed up with the Italians of Kano to write the disco anthems "First True Love Affair" (remixed by Larry Levan) and "Fall Into A Trance". Surprisingly, Jimmy Ross used to live in Belgium in the 1970s, recording for the country singer and amusement park owner Bobbejaan Schoepen. Jimmy Ross passed away in 2000

Hi Tension were a North London based band, seen as pioneers of Brit funk and started as Hott Waxx in the early 1970s.[1] They included Phil Fearon (Galaxy and Kandidate) and Lloyd Phillips (Kandidate) brother of guitarist Paul, before becoming Hi Tension and riding high on the Brit funk wave with the tracks, "Hi Tension" and "British Hustle".

Inner Life was an American R&B/soul studio project of the post-disco era that enjoyed success with "I'm Caught Up (In a One Night Love Affair)" (1979) and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" (1981). Both tracks featured the vocals of Jocelyn Brown and Leroy Burgess (formerly of Black Ivory). Produced and arranged by Patrick Adams and engineered by Bob Blank and Joe Arlotta, the album was originally produced for executive producer Greg Carmichael, whose Red Greg Records was an early and prolific disco label based in New York.
