Ken put out a early doors session heavily loaded with tunes from labels – Dirtybird, It Ain’t Bristol, Main Course that was well received by the small group on the patio in the smoking area, a mini bus group of over 65’s on a day trip from Wallington, two blue-rinse gals drinking tea while waiting for the bingo to open and most of the regulars including – One eyed Pete, Fat Bob, Irish Mick, Turkish Ted, Phil ‘knuckles’, Barb the bag lady, The Gin Queen Glenda, Toothless Terry, Daz, Baz, Kaz and Theodora.
Mrs Ken had a great time at the bar eating and drinking Ken’s rider (2 bags if dry-roasted nuts and 5 pints of IPA), although she would have liked a snakebite and black. The whole session finished early enough for a fish and chip lunch on the beach!
