I just remembered something... I was supposed to, I think, 2 or 3 days ago, order my Cardi B ticket. Then I remembered why it wasn't that much of a priority. Those guys over at TicketMaster & Live Nation... They think they have a Free Pass to just shove both their hands into our pockets, huh? I guess I wasn't the only one who thought that paying $175.00 for a Marilyn Manson ticket was normal.
But you know who really gets the Gold Medal for going into our pockets....AMAZON. ...and they got caught. As always. They pay a 2,5 billion dollar fine, and don't have to admit to any wrongdoing. I was never good at math in school, but this time it was easy.
Amazon generates about 1 Billion Dollars a day. I guess that "generate' is in ads? Naw, it can't be all ads, right? 1 billion dollars is going to pay some sort of something to the FTC, and the 1.5 billion goes to the 40 million people who tried to cancel their Prime subscriptions, but got caught up in some sort of "K-Hole" or another. 1.5 billion divided by 40 million comes out to $37.50 each. But wait. Amazon has over 200 million Prime subscribers at $14.99 A MONTH on average. So, they make about THREE BILLION A MONTH on PRIME ALONE!!. Their gross profit for 2024 was...$311.671 BILLION!! I tell people that they make at least 365B dollars a year. I wonder who threw that number out there for the fine. I bet it was Amazon. Bezo's F.U. money is about 2 to 3 million a day. And here you have people just now finding out about this cluster fuck, and are crying they want their refund money.. They want to get paid. I bet his lawyers were patting each other on the backs...trying to contain their laughter as they were walking out of the courtroom. You know that type of laugh... One where you try and hold it in, and snot comes out of your nose.
