(Clears throat)... I went to see Marilyn Manson at the Filmore, in Charlotte, NC. I flew in on a Thursday afternoon, and Friday night was the concert. On Friday, at the last minute.. I paid $40 for a Pre-Show Entrance. To me it was worth it. There was only one person in front of me, and he was standing at the barrier. MM was on my Bucket List. Everything I paid to see him perform, WAS WORTH IT!!
Which brings me to this mix.
I was talking with a young lady who works in the hotel's restaurant. She asked me what brought me to Charlotte, and I told her. She said..."If you get a chance to see Lil Wyne perform, do NOT pass it up. She said that a family member invited her to one of his shows, and she turned it down. She said the family member was sending her pictures throughout the whole concert. She said she wished she had gone. So...
After arriving at home, I went on TM to see who was performing and where. May 24th, Madison Square Garden..."Lil Wayne". I called my boy and asked him if he had a space on his living room floor. I will take him to see Lil Wayne. He told me he isn't into his music. I said okay and hung up. If my boy had said yes..."Bet, hell yeah!!!"...I was purchasing 2 $500 tickets.
So, I searched to see where he is playing next. Memephis, TN, Septemeber 28th, 8 pm. I purchased 3 tickets. I invited a friend who wants to see Cardi B, but she isn't on tour. So I'm taking her. I still have an extra ticket, guess who I'm going to call tomorrow, Thursday? That woman who works in the restaurant at the hotel I stayed at. Gonna call the front desk at 8 am. Since I'm gonna drive to Memphis, I can swing by Charlotte and pick her up if .she wants to go.
