06.24.2025 Yesterday, as I was leaving the comfort of a friend's home and AC, I heard a strange noise I haven't heard in a very long time. It was that of a helicopter, idling. It was very close by. So, I rode my scooter across the road and into a parking lot.
If you have never heard a copter...one that is just sitting there before it takes off... It's a sound you don't hear as much as you would like to. It draws your attention, makes you want to look for it just to see it. And that's what I was doing.
As I rode into the parking lot, there was a fence that had a power station on the other side of it. Naturally, I was looking down because of the sound of the chopper; it sounded like it was on the ground. For about 2 minutes, I looked all around that other side of the fence, then something glittered, above my head. This chopper was pointed right at me wth one person in the front and one person in the rear hanging out. I just looked up at it.
This chopper...was just "hanging there", in the air...like it was being supported by wires. It didn't move...just hung there looking at me. I had my iPhone 12 on my side. I slowly took it out, all while looking at it. I slowly raised it from my hip, while hitting the record button, which I had to look at. As I brought it up, the chopper changed its tone. It had turned slowly to the left, and slowly moved forward...with one guy hanging out the back door, looking at me. I'm not sure, but I think I saw the State Police colors on the side of it.
I wasn't losing it, but.. But I spent over 30 minutes online trying to find out what it was doing in that area. Also.. It was kind of strange that as soon as I pointed my camera at it, it took off in the other direction.
As the title suggests.."On The Fly"..."100% DanceFloor Hits Compilation". I was using the Beat Sync also. I messed up a couple of times, and I was dancing to my own mix.
