I originally made this mix way back in 2003. It was my first stab at doing a themed mix (as opposed to a bunch of tunes I just liked). I've always loved Latin music, right back to the 1960s, starting with the latin rock stylings of Santana, so it was natural that I'd wake up to Latin House eventually. Since this one, I've done six more Latin House mixes, so you could say it's something of an obsession. This collection features some great tracks, from the mellow "Para Ti" by Malena to the faster and harder "Latin Vision" by Thaisoul Orchestra. Special mention to "Patricia Never Leaves the House" by Wally Lopez and Dr Kucho. Less latin-y than the other tracks, but still one of my favourites on the mix ...
