Back in the 1990s, one of my favourite labels was AM:PM. Their A&R guy Simon Dunmore just seemed to have the golden touch, as he put out tune after tune that just raised the rafters. As it turns out I still have quite a few of the vinyls so I dug them out, blew off the dust and put together this mix of AM:PM's finest. I tried to go for the harder edged stuff, so you'll find more Alcatraz than Sarah Washington here. So thrill to the sounds of "Ultra Flava" by Heller and Farley, "Stand Up" by Love Tribe and "Bring Me Love" by Andrea Mendez ... And I have plenty left over for another volume - maybe I'll do the more vocal stuff on the next one.
