From the vaults - this mix from 2016 is a compilation of some of my favourite Motown cuts. I’m not a big fan of what most people would consider the classic “Motown Sound” probably from having flogged them to death at many a wedding, A few 60 classics creep in but the majority of my faves are from the 70’s & 80’s – a far smoother era. As always i have used a lot of re-edits & remixes to make the mix sound a bit “modern”. It began as a 90 minute mix but i kept adding stuff, so its now a 2 Part mix. The second will follow. PS..........I left the first track intact as it is my favourite Erykah Badu track - it would have been rude to edit it.
