I Started mixing in the early 80's with regular disco music, hey, i was a teenager :P Later on i bought my records at Hotsound and Midtown records in Rotterdam. Very good places to buy records, i really miss the vinyls. When i listened to "Chicago House" i was in love with this house music. Think about J.M Silk, Jack your Body, move your body and so on. I went a lot to Bluetiek in, THE disco in Rotterdam in the 80's. Peter Slaghuis (r.i.p) was the resident DJ overthere. He inspired me with sampling on my akai s500 sampler. Started with midi sequencing and sampling and improved my mixes. A lot of things changed, my latest device is a smooth Pioneer XDJ-RX2!
