This is the remastered version of my very first mix, Dark Times Mix. I've reconstructed this mix from the ground up using Audacity, re-doing each transition by hand. All the songs of the original are in here. Notable changes include:
- Final Fantasy -> Halo -> Blow ExXplode: Mix is now elevated to 134 BPM, the count of Halo. Mix no longer abruptly jumps from Final Fantasy to Blow ExXplode and instead mixes into Halo.
- Uncontrolled -> Virgo Cluster: Songs are separated, like they should have been.
- Railgun -> Detroit City: Mix now gradually shifts from 140 to 175 BPM.
- Whispers in the Mist -> When I Look at You: Mix no longer jumps in BPM abruptly. A gradual shift from 120 to 140 BPM is performed instead.
- BPM of songs were correctly analyzed, with the correct transitions applied.
- Certain transitions are longer. This means the mix is five minutes longer.
I hope you guys enjoy this new remastered version of this mix. I enjoyed making this and, while I certainly would not play certain songs together in the future like I originally did last year, I definitely liked making this something I would listen to again.
