Born and raised in Cape Town, Randy J has been drawn to the world of dance music since the young age of 13. Frequenting many of the famous local clubs, it was only in 2007, at the age of 29, that he decided to act on his dreams. Randy J took it upon himself to be the change he wanted to see. Within 3 years, Randy J ...has played at popular bars/clubs such as Baraza (Sappire), The M Bar (Daddy Cool), Cappellos, Carnival Court, Ivy League, The Lounge and back to back with Dino Moran (international DJ/Producer) at the Fez. Not forgetting winning The White Label Sessions DJ Competition in 2010. *Travis - Red Bull - very good beats, good set, awesome persona, my favourite. *Shaun Duvet - exellent DJ, proffessional approach and sound, will do well in all markets in S.A, a lot of promise. *Kosta (Crazy White Boy/Soul Candi Rep.) - a peak time DJ, can only become amazing at what he does, Big sounds, Big Soul *Tony Finger: Great Music selection, Great vibe and personality, This is what to expect from a DJ. Randy will go far. *Dino Moran: would be at home alongside the worlds best touring artists’, I respect his conviction to play what he believes in, he totally rocks. After successfully completing studies in music production, 2011 saw Randy J being the first guest DJ to have a two consecutive month residency on Good Hope FM's "Night Funk" show with Mixi. Using music production techniques, Randy J has blurred the lines between DJing and live performances.
