its catalogue digitally available Launched in 1993 by George Power and
Grant Nelson, Nice ‘n Ripe and it’s vast array of sub-imprints helped
solidify the
nascent UK Garage scene and nuture its countless offshoots that much modern garage/bassline/dubstep/funky owes a debt to.
Producers like Warren Clarke, Jeremy Sylvester, Fionn Lucas and Nelson himself perverted the label’s original inspirations
(and supporters), Masters at Work, Moraels, Humphries and Knuckles, and made Nice ‘n Ripe a must check imprint for as new
generation.
