What we have here is Darkside Garage. It is extremely similar to Dark Garage, and it can be mislabeled as such. But, being mislabeled is not anything that is negative. It could very well be either or in any of the categories. The genre "Darkside Garage" is a subgenre that evolved from UK garage, taking a mostly instrumental, stripped-down form of dark garage. It is also associated with dubstep and grime, and has influences from various shades of soulful house music with elements of UK and soca, as well as tribal style percussion from afrobeat.
