Psycore. Not "Core" as in hard and rough aggressive type of music that affixes the word "core" at the end of its genre i.e. Trapcore, Dubcore, Hardcore, and etc. Psycore in this instance is the incessant overdriving element of Trance Music to invoke Aural, Cerebral, Visual, and Sensoral reaction to it's interweaving and at times hectic synths and pulsating basslines. True, it can be the "core" as described as aggressive ala all of the other genres that has the word "core" in it's name, but you would sometimes come across certain "Psycore" tracks that are absent of any aggression or sinisterism within it. But, you would always get that over exaggerated eclectics of synths and basslines everytime you listen to a "Psycore" Trance track! Hence, that is why the "core" in this genres is different from other "cores" in all other genres.
