Opening track is deep and mellow setting the mood for the journey. IMAGERY - Neon goldfish floating in a ginormous indoor tank beside the hash bar. 29:40 - LUV the consistency here with the low-tone concept from the opening track. 40:08 - NICE! - Inverted drum pattern with the key tones building up and down in scale throughout. 52:38 - DEEP! - Listen to the lite wobble and bass hum in the background. 66:02 - Notice the flute drop and the jungle sounds that relay behind the percussion backdrop. 83:07 - INFLICTED!!! Sex on a macabre carousel. Listen to the female vocal hook. 95:15 - Slide hook on the keys (organ) is ADDICTIVE! The last song of the set SWINGS! Female vocal spoken word.
- One of the more "dreamy" journeys I've taken as far as with the soundscope and imagery that it conveys. This set is filled with downtempo elements and enough pulse to keep your mind alert. The spoken word tracks sneak up on you for a well-placed change of pace. Roll one up with this one, UnitedByGroove provided the set for some SERIOUS escapism. Similar in style to Shadow Records, "Blunted 3 (2001)." Flat out an EPIC set!!!
