On Saturday night, I did my first live DJ gig since 1989. I thought I could bring in three hour-long mixes and that would satisfy the crowd. I thought wrong. Halfway through this first set, I just gave up on my mixes and did the thing live. It's a real shame, I like these mixes, but this gig had a whole "80s retro" thing going, and while I'm not a huge fan of Aerosmith, AC-DC or Paula Abdul, you have to give the people what they want ... especially if they look nice in summer shorts and dresses. LOL
The picture is yours truly at the show. As DJs go, I suck, but people danced.
