PSYKINETIC is undeniably talented and devoted to his music
and started to DJ back in 1988 when raves just started to get established.
With over 30 years DJ-ing and involvement in the party
scene Neil’s passion and respect for music is clearly reflected and evident
through his unique and creative style of mixing and track selection.
He plays each of his sets straight from the heart with passion,
energy, skill and affection that instantly builds an intense and uplifting connection
with any crowd. (Ultimately getting them all going nuts!!)
Some of his influences include The Prodigy, Moby, Leftfield,
Massive Attack, Jean-Michelle-Jare, Astrix, 1200 Mics, Krunch, Timelock, Sonic
Species, Tristan and Avalon which are just
a few to mention.
Neil’s inspiring journey has resulted in him playing out all styles of
electronic music from hard house to break beat but has always had a passion for
progressive/ Full-On Psy-trance.
In 2000 he became a resident DJ under the umbrella of
Antiworld UK/Ibiza, Psy-Gate and Psychedelic Academy and played alongside
internationally recognized artists such as, Astrix & Friends, Infecting the
UK (Infected Mushroom) Skazi in Concert (Rock & Rave), T.I.P Records Tour
at venues such as the 02 arena in front of 1000’s.
After Antiworld closed its curtains in 2009 he then moved
on to be resident for PSYCHOLOGY based in Norwich UK and ran the Psychedelic Stage at SYMMETRY FESTIVAL.
Alongside heavy weight festivals such as GLASTONBURY, BOOM
TOWN, ILLUMINAUGHTY, DANCE GATHERING , ONE TRIBE , UNIVERSO PARALELLO (Brazil)
and GOA CREAM.
PSYKINETIC regularly guests various different underground/
mainstream parties such as PSYMERA, COHEISION, ILLUSIOM, BOOGIE WOOGIE, , SECRET SOMA and BUTTERFLY EFFECT, NEPTUNE
SOUNDS to name a few.
Neil is also performing @ No Mans Land, Boomtown festival,
One Tribe festival and Goa Cream this summer.
