so on september 8th 2018, i started a new dj residency at loaded nightclub & lounge, spalding, lincolnshire, uk. never been there before, took over from the last dj of 5 years, and did not know what kind of music they liked or what the other dj used to play, so went in pretty much blind which is always the case. a short lived residency lasting just under 4 months, but within that time i like to think i made an impression. with this being the first night, i don't think it is my greatest performance there, however i will be sharing all recordings from this residency over the coming weeks (by request). the staff there are an amazing bunch and made me feel very welcome, and i felt quite at home pretty much straight away which is quite a rare thing. also the manager whilst i was there was exceptional, and such a nice bloke to work for - completely (in my opinion) unappreciated and a bloody hard worker. no longer with the club, but i'm sure future venues will realise what a major asset he actually is. this is part 1 of 3, the other 2 parts to this 1st night will be uploaded shortly.
