i was born & raised in chicago; got turned on to house music around the time jesse saunders & farley' funkin' keith(bka farley jackmaster funk) started putting out records. some of my idols are: ron hardy, gene hunt, andre hatchett,& lil' louis. i've been beat mixing since'92 but, originally, started out just collecting records in grade school( around '84 i think).i lived overseas for 5 years in the '90s and got to experience 1st hand the impact house had on other countries; picked up a few gigs here & there. i'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here; it's just about the love of music.
