BACK IN 2023 - WHILST BEING A DMC PRODUCER
Back in 2023 the last DMC release produced by me was “Christmas Monsterjam volume 11” which was received incredibly well. For that volume 11 the songs used were all ‘remixed’ to make the whole Monsterjam sound even more as one large Christmas track!
In that “Christmas Monsterjam volume 11” the following songs are also featured: “Christmas Through Your Eyes” performed by Gloria Estefan, “These Are The Special Times” performed by Christina Aguilera and “My Only Wish (This Year)” performed by Britney Spears.
STAND-ALONE REMIXES
Whilst working on “Christmas Monsterjam volume 11” the idea popped in my head to produce a stand-alone ‘Dance Remix’ of the song “Christmas Through Your Eyes”. I also decided to do stand-alone Extended remixes of “These Are The Special Times” by Christina Aguilera and of Britney Spears’ Christmas song from 2000 “My Only Wish (This Year)” both Christmas songs I seriously LOVE! 💝😍
When the ‘New 2023 Dance Remix’ of Gloria Estefan’s “Christmas Through Your Eyes” was finished, I send it to DMC and it was planned to be included on the release ‘DJ Essentials DMC Christmas 32 (Christmas tracks and remixes)’ of that year (every year they released such a Christmas album). Christmas Mixes and remixes produced by me have been included on previous releases in that particular DMC series.
NEVER GOT RELEASED
However, that release of ‘DJ Essentials DMC Christmas 32 (Christmas tracks and remixes)’ never happened .. on March 16th 2023 DMC went into a voluntary liquidation and from that moment on, only few DMC releases happened (not even the monthly ‘Commercial Collection’ release happened anymore).
DMC was taken-over by a special for that reason on January 19th 2023 incorporated company called ‘Futureverse Ltd.’ (3 Whittle Parkway, Slough, England, SL1 6DQ). However, ‘Futureverse Ltd.’ was dissolved on March 4th 2025, so this year 🤷🏼♂️ Reason why no remixes, mixes & Monsterjams of mine are released anymore since then ☹️
REMIX POSTPONED
Because of my ‘Dance Remix’ of Gloria Estefan’s song “Christmas Through Your Eyes” not being released by DMC, the remix of Britney’s song “My Only Wish (This Year)” was postponed, after all, Christmas 2023 had already passed. I did however finish the remix of Christina’s song “These Are The Special Times” back in 2023. The Extended remix of Britney’s song “My Only Wish (This Year)” was finished recently 😃👍🏼
