Here is a German Popsong (Schlager Song) that’s been remixed by me. My goal is to try and make more German Popsongs available in remixed versions. But unfortunately most of the German artists want a remix to sound 99,9% the same as the original version 🤷🏼♂️
Why would someone want their song to be remixed BUT still sound 99,9% the exact same as the original single version?!? I just don’t get that. The whole concept of a remix is to make a song sound different, to interpret a song in a different way.. THAT’S the whole idea of doing a remix of a song!
Anyway, I did a nice Extended Club Mix of Rosanna Rocci’s song “Italo Disco” of which the original single version was released on June 14th 2024.
I didn’t like the ‘music’ that’s used under the chorus of the song, to me it sounds like a 64kbps MP3 so what did I do? I took the very short intro of the original single version and edited it.. and that’s the music I used under the chorus of the song. Furthermore I sped up the song and played around with the vocals a bit.
I myself feel the song now sounds more like the Italo songs from back in the 80s which I absolutely LOVE! 😍🎶👍🏼
