Last year I produced a remix of the song “Just An Illusion” performed by Dutch band BZN. The song is one of my favourite songs of the band with lead vocals performed by Anny Schilder.
When it was released back in 1983, I bought this song on vinyl 7” single. Last year I updated the song into a banging Clubmix and I didn’t do that because I had to, no way, I did it because I seriously wanted to and I could! 😊
Now I’m sharing the ‘Luciën Vrolijk 2024 Radio Clubmix’ with you for your listening pleasure.
Not familiar with the 1983 ‘BZN’ song “Just An Illusion” …?
Please DO check it out on YouTube and afterwards listen to my remix production. That way you can hear the difference between the original version of the song and my 2024 remix. You will seriously be amazed how I stayed true to the original song and still updated it so it sounds more modern and can be used by any DJ in a live-set at a Club.
Even non-Dutch people will probably love this BANGING New Clubmix of this over 40 years old song that I produced last year in 2024.
I called this New Clubmix I’ve done ”Just An Illusion ‘24” 😊😇
And as said, there’s also a ‘Luciën Vrolijk 2024 Extended Clubmix’ (RT. 7.07) that can be found on this website .. just visit my profile and you’ll find it. Do have a listen to the ‘Extended Clubmix’ too, if you haven’t already that is, It’s really fantastic, even if I do say so myself 😄😉
PS: this remix production has been done without the use of a multitrack of the song, as there simply isn’t one available to the public 🤷🏼♂️
