Born & Raised In A Tropical Island Named Sri Lanka, DJ Shawn Groove Started Spinning At The Age Of 4teen, He Resumed His Career At A Local DJ Company Named DREAMS, Along With DJ Scar. Shawn Was Trained & Thought The Basics In Been A DJ By DJ Scar. They Rocked Many Events Together In Colombo. Shawn Then Began His Career In The Radio Scene & He 1st Started Spinning With TOM-HART @ 89.5 Yes FM & Then Moved On To 99.9 SUN FM & Hosted The Weekend Eve Mix Show With RJ & The Saint (DJ-Jan) (It Was A Dream Come True To Me To Be A DJ In Radio) Shawn Then Got The Opportunity To Rock The Clubs In Colombo. Shawn's 1st Promo Event Was Hosted By SUN FM. It Was The TEEN DISC At MKOP And Then CASCADES, Colombo 2000, The BLUE LEOPARD, LEDGENS & Spun International Gigs Venues Down South. Shawn Kept Rocking The Clubs In Colombo Until The Day Came To Migrate To The United States. After He Relocated To The US He Started His Entertainment Company (Groove Productions & Entertainment).
