Back in the earlier Doorstep days: no controller, loops, key locks etc. Not even on Technics 1210s and a decent mixer (with equaliser controls) in the early days!
So this is a bone fide mix tape from back in the day. Hopefully the first of many to upload gradually. It's not the upload that's the pain but this was converted to mp3 in the early days where windows was nice enough to leave little gaps between each mp3 track. So I've had to try my best to manually chop those gaps out (cue the violins!)
Anyway the mix itself kicks off with a bit of trance, moving then between uplifting house, hard house and more trance. I even liked to shift through genres back then. It won't be as polished as a digital mix but it's honest and in its pure form. It's still pretty good but I would say that. Hope you get chance to listen, enjoy and tell me what you think please.
