Bio

Franko Diago

Born in June 1957, in Rotterdam. The place where it all started. At the age of 11 he started to buy his first records. Atlantic soul, Curtis Mayfield and James Brown made him aware of power of black music. At the age of 15 he hosted his first own dance-event, after becoming one of Leon Huff’s (Sound of Philadelphia) biggest fans.

After the start of the 90’s Franko started to buy another type of records, smooth and mellow. Quiet Beauty! Lazy afternoons, Sultry nights. A new DJ career was born. The lounge and chill out music proved to be an interesting choice. A mix of lounge grooves and old soul, jazz and blues music. This feel-good experience was original and wanted.

Franko Diago currently deejays next to lounge also Old skool, Deep- & Beach-house and plays often live with several musicians. Franko’s achievements didn’t not stop here. He appears also abroad. As a regular dj at the Lake of Como, The Belgian Cruise to Pleasure Party’s and many appereances at beachclubs in Spain, Italy and Turkey he began his own management company in which young talent appears and starts to blossom.
