Volume 5 may be the shortest mix in the series, but they say "less is more" right? In this case, yes. How can you go wrong with talent like these...?
We start off deep with tONKPROJECT's "When You Don't Know That I Know"; Soft Knees' "Reflexion" sets the tempo for the rest of the set, seguing nicely into Guy J's remix of "Altair", then the Beat Maniacs' remix of Tvardovsky's "Colours" [best track from the set IMO]; Nikolay Mikryukov's "Forgotten Space" halfway is a beautiful, melodic piece I fell in love with in 20 seconds flat; the off-key remix of Scotty. A's "Sense Of An Ending" by Navar is weird but irresistable; Jamie Stevens featured on Vol 3 & I am delighted to include Sonic Union's incredible remix of his "Foreign Utopia". This pounding bassline leads us into 'Bahia', before MUUI leads us gently out on an ambient analogue vibe with Marc Poppcke's "Introverted" ...
