A tribute to my friend Jeff who left this world 2/25/22. Besides having the best sense of humor...Jeff liked all music genres...From Lady Gaga to Van Halen to Billie Holiday. We had that in common. We loved to turn each other on to our favorite songs, especially new music, remixes and mashups. He really loved the Pet Shop Boys & New Order & everything 80's during the time we lived together. He loved the bassline & rap to Left To my Own Devices and loved my New Order Megamix especially the Blue Monday remix and Round And Round with the Dead or Alive sample. I remember times where he played Joy Division and A Flock Of Seagulls explaining the lyrics and the synths. He really loved horror movies and turned me on to so many cool ones I had never seen. He really liked Ryan Murphy. We used to watch American Horror Story every week together...and he really loved the scene in AHS Hotel when "Tear You Apart" was the theme music. When I heard the new release by Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys...I could feel his energy and excitement in the afterlife. I included these songs in my mix. I always felt like a teenager with him...I can hear him saying "Check out this breakbeat or that gutar riff or that sample" We had so many good times together. I hope this tribute is Jeff worthy.
