He began his career in Johannesburg during the height of the rave scene in the 1990s, honing his skills and developing his unique style. In 2004, he immigrated to Portsmouth, UK, where he played at venues across the city and on the south coast. In 2011, he moved to Southeast Asia and has since held residencies at various venues, including Sunset Sunrise, Big Daddy's Diner, Babylon Bar, and Sangdee Gallery. He has also been the sole DJ for high-adrenaline gymkhana drift racing events. Throughout his career, dj-TASK has played in various countries, including South Africa, England, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. He is known for his versatile sets that can range from deep house to deep tech house, progressive house, and techno. With his wealth of experience and technical expertise, dj-TASK is sure to keep the dance floor alive with his dynamic and high-energy performances.

I have also played live Latin Jazz percussion at the Blue note NYC, and at Cecil's Swingin' Latin jazz nights in Orange NJ. My musical mentors who taught me during my teenage years and in the Spanish Harlem percussion clinics include the jazz & salsa legends Ray Barretto, Tito Puente and Charlie Palmieri. I also love to play Latin percussion to just about everything especially the "Fania All-Stars", I have also mixed "salsa gorda" tunes for my brother from another mother and dear fellow friend Pedro Gomez back at Telemundo TV studios in Hato Rey PR, que viva la salsa por que aqui se formo la rumba!!!!

He is a DJ, music producer and creator of the Bora Bora beach club and music concept that he started in 1997 on the island of Ibiza. WORLD TOUR AND EVENTS Gee is famed for his unique universal sound that covers a vast range of styles from Deep House through to Techno known collectively as the “Bora Bora sound”. VENUES PLAYED In Gee’s first years as a DJ he held residences in all the top 7 clubs on the island of Ibiza including Pacha, Space, Privilege, Amnesia, El Divino… In 2002 he was resident at 5 of these clubs at the same time. He’s played many successful World tours stopping off In 2004 to be resident for After Hour Power LA, USA. PRESS Gee and Bora Bora have appeared in countless articles and interviews throughout the worlds press. Gee has also written many articles himself for various top music press publications including M8, Ministry and DJ MAG. More recently he has also written regularly for House Mag, Brazil. RADIO AND TV Gee has presented radio shows and performances for Ministry of Sound Radio (UK), Loca FM (Spain), Thump Radio (USA) and many more across the globe as well as three different BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza broadcasts for Pete Tong’s Essential Selection show, an Essential Mix live from Pacha Ibiza, whilst also standing in for an Annie Nightingale broadcast (all on BBC Radio 1). Currently Gee and his Radio team produce weekly shows on the Bora Bora Radio Station Gee has been interviewed and made many guest appearances on TV shows around the world including Rapture TV, E, MultiShow, MTV, of which he has also been an interviewer/presenter.
