My influences are extremely diversified. They range from old school Rock & Roll from the 70’s my parents use to listen at home, such as Elvis Presley, The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many more, to stuff like Giorgio Moroder, David Bowie, The B52’s, The Cars and most of the artist of the crazy Disco years. As a matter of fact, these last names that I have mentionned were among the first records that I’ve personally purchased to start experimenting behind my first decks and mixer playing for small parties here and there. Starting in the late 80’s until the 90’s my musical preferences evolved towards some very different and diversified styles, ranging from industrial & rock to straight-ahead electronic music like Ministry, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Cat Rapes Dog, Cabaret Voltaire, Die Krupps, Die Warzau, Mussolini Headkick, Bigod 20, Kraftwerk, Front Line Assembly, Cassandra Complex, Art of Noise, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Body Count, Green Jelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, White Zombie, The Tea Party and even artists like Dread Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, Ann Clark & Moby. In the last couple of years, I've listened mainly to underground and house music. Therefore my latest influences mainly come from my good friend Corvin Dalek & all the Wet and Hard Crew from Berlin, Oliver Klein, Marco Bellini, the excellent Saeed Younan, Pig & Dan, Dirty Funker, Midnight Society, Dave The Drummer, RPO, DR. Kucho, Timo Maas, Melleefresh & Deadmau5, and of course Indica , my mentor and partner. He is indeed my greatest influence and inspiration.

Julie Fortin aka Lady Liberty landed on the Montreal scene with a strong artistic background. She comes from a family with artistic talent. From an early age she was interested in music and was part of a choir singing up until adolescence. In college, she decide to take the arts of design. She has always been fascinated by the different musical styles and architecture and is very strongly influenced by the urban side of New York she visits frequently, as well as Montreal and diverse night life. She was initiated into the world of electronic music with influences from Lula, Corvin Dalek and Edson Pride. Lady Liberty then combines these influences to her House music that we can describe as sensual, sexy and exciting. Lady Liberty a name to remember in the coming years
