- Dehydr8ed represents a unique style of electronic music creation and manipulation. Jason Randall and I (Niko Benetos) met in 2011 here on House-mixes.com. Since then we have become very close friends. We are both focused on pushing the limits of music manipulation and mixing in different ways. I have been using Ableton Live for 9 years now. I Strip down tracks to samples, then arrange them with parts of others and my own synth, basslines percussion and effects to create a unique dance music experience. There are no limits as to what can be done. Most of my sets use about 20 channels and could take 50 to 100 hours to complete. Jason Randall is simply put the best DJ on the planet. He is using upto 6 decks along with samplers and effects units and although he is the King of dark pounding techno he can throw down in any style and make the most seasoned of DJs seem amateur. Don't waste your time reading this, just press play on the sets to see for yourself. I would Like to thank everybody for all the excellent comments and downloads. This is a great place to catch new artists and DJs and the music fans on this site are the best in the world. My passion for the music began of very young, concretely at the age of 8. Listening to the artists of the epoch but especially to Depeche Mode with that vinyl of '101'. That group fascinated me,but it was not up to 15 years that it gave to me for the electronic music. My first CD was of 'letters from the Jester' by The Timewriter (Jean F.Cochois). Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos.
