MY first mix ever using a controller. I got myself a Denon MC6000, i never used cdj's before or record decks for that matter, just my laptop and Traktor pro. Realy enjoying learning to use it, strange these things called jog wheels lol and learning to use them, big difference from just using the touchpad on my laptop. As for the mix itself, well a few deep/tech/house tunes I like from the last few months or so. Hope you enjoy this mix, its a big learning curve for me and hopefully I can only get better the more I practise on the MC6000. So listen and let me know what you think!

This is some serious good mixing! its a big change switching from just laptop to the real deal haha. But seems u have learned quick! No sync used?? Cuz im impressed, beatmatched really well! Also.. sick part around 26min and badass track @ 51!! :) well what the hack, 2nd part rocked big time for me! I say keep it up, how more u practice the better and easier mixing will get, so u have more time to spice your sets up with effects or creating different ways to mix.

beatmatching is tricky, i am leaving sync off now (as much as possible, had to use it when 3 tracks playing or when I panic hahaha) I'm tring to get the hang of wether the track is to fast or too slow (Pitch up or down) and trying to get my ears to understand, sometimes i'm off and i'll panick and push sync, but i'll practise and I'll master it over time (i hope) Cheers for listening

yo bro...first of all I'm most probably the most "Anti Sync" DJ on this site....lol....just for the fact that every kid is called a DJ nowadays because he discovered a sync button on a free program he downloaded or pirated from his buddy ...hahahaha.....so for trying not to use that damn thing I already say...respect...hahahaha. That button was made for DJ's to get more creative when mixing and re-mixing shit. Keep on using that thing and you'll just become another "lazy-ass listen to my favorite top 20 tracks in a row wannabe""....lol. Mixing in this is really good and so far tracks compliment each other which is important I'd say. Honestly all tracks aren't known my taste but luckily we're not all the same...so big up for that. Tracks are all in key, mix sounds like it's progressing a bit ...that's key to keep em' asses on the damn dancefloor....lol....nobody is allowd to take a piss or buy a drink when you are busy doing your thing... :D I prefer doing looooooong transitions....makes it more fun...but that's me....and also depends on tracks and genre I'd say. Okay I say yessss....ME DIGG....like your style mate and I'll be tuning in lots more. Respect for your honesty and keepin it real. Peace brother! :D

3:20 mark - The crescendo to the breakdown on this was solid. Always appreciate the female vocal narrative in the non-english language. 7:27 - CATCHY melody here...LOCKED IN by 8:50. 16:13 - Dig the classic female vocal chop, percussion sequence is solid! 19:47 - YEAH MAN! Really nice groove here, the keys and the drum pattern make this. You've got this style and technique down. 27:07 - Notice the murky, moody keys and drum sequence on this. 31:58 - NICE! Galloping style here. See 19:47 notes. Elementary TRANSITION to 36:31 (A BANGER! Heavy Bass and moody keys).
- Callkiller formally introduces his developing style into the craft with this presentation. There are some solid dancefloor progressions, which will attract deephouse and tech fans. The roots are developing, in time let's see how the tree grows. 57 mins..46 secs..WORTH CHECKIN'!
