Natural de Mucientes, un pequeño pueblo de Valladolid, Sergio M ha pasado la mayor parte de su vida volviendo locos a los vecinos. Su coqueteo con la música electrónica comienza a los 12 años, cuando su tÃo le regaló una cinta de Depeche Mode, por los que desde entonces siente admiración. Posteriormente se va introduciendo en nuevos grupos: Faithless, Fatboy Slim o Groove Armada. La música le cautivó y empezó a conocer nuevos y variados estilos: Progressive, Dance, House y en menor medida Techno. A los 15 años descubrió el mundo de las mezclas y los dj´s de manos de buenos amigos y se introdujo en su cultura. Se dejó enseñar y supo aprender. Permaneció en la sombra, mirando y escuchando música. Todos decÃan que tenÃa estilo y no se le daba mal, pero la imposibilidad de hacerse con un equipo tiró al traste todas sus intenciones. No desesperó y mientras otros se dedicaban a mezclar de sala en sala, él se dedicó a afinar su gusto musical y a recopilar información del mundo de la electrónica. Visitó numerosas salas: Kapital, Razzmatazz, Ku, Pachá, Privilege, Fame, Sala Mambo… donde incrementó su pasión por este mundo La vida continuó, estudió enfermerÃa y tuvo que trasladarse a Santander por trabajo. Allà tuvo la oportunidad de aprender todo lo referente al mundo del vinilo y la producción musical. Sintió tal admiración que retomo su aprendizaje con la ilusión de un adolescente. Su gusto musical, su toque personal y sus peculiares Sets son la carta de presentación de Sergio M, predominando en sus sesiones su preferencia por el House y el Techno House más ibicenco, música que admira y que ha marcado su estilo, sin despreciar buenos temas de minimal techno. From Mucientes, a small town of Valladolid, Sergio M has spent most of his life going crazy neighbors.
