I was born in Quebec, Canada. Very young, I developed an interest in dance music, it was always the most rhythmic songs that held my attention on the radio. My first 12 '' I bought was “Love Is In Control” by Donna Summer in 1982, but it was in 1987 that I really started my vinyl collection at a store named Import-O-Son where I also learned the basis of DJing. In 1988 I bought my first mixer that I connected with two family’s turntables. In 1990, I bought my own sound system and my own turntables, I was then addicted. In 1991, I began my series of mix tape called Martymix. I was selling for the bargain price of... $7. I also started my short DJ career; I was doing occasional replacement in a club for teenagers. I also made some mobile disco parties, my biggest being the Christmas party of policemen and firefighter of Quebec City. In 1994, a fire severely damaged my vinyl collection and my sound system. Also, having to start from scratch ended my DJ aspirations. I did get the opportunity to work with Beaugarte’s DJ Christian Pelletier in Ste-Foy. I remember once on a Monday night when there was a lot more customers than usual, I was requisitioned to play music to people who wanted to dance (there was never a DJ or dance on Mondays). This was my last live performance. I eventually returned to school in computer science and started my real career in life. In 2012, being nostalgic of DJing, I bought a small iDJ console to get back in the "beat", but it was not until early 2014 that I really got to work producing a mix of my favorite 50 songs of the year 2013. I then got the idea of reproducing my Martymix tapes with my console, and later launched my series club-a-holic to get in today’s sounds. Although today's technologies greatly facilitate the work of the DJ, I always have great pleasures behind my console and my computer trying to create the best transitions for my listeners.

Hola,soy un dj que se inició a los 13 años (en agosto de 2024 cumpliré 58 años si llego ;) mezclando siempre en busca de la perfección lo que me llevaba 4 horas diarias de práctica con vinilos con mucha pasión que aún conservo intacta aunque si bien tengo los vinilos las mezclas hoy día son digitales tratando de usar algunas de las herramientas maravillosas que existen y es un placer también .Comparto con ustedes el trabajo hecho con mucho amor !!! Hello, I am a DJ who started at the age of 13 (in August 2024 I will turn 58 if I make it ;) always mixing in search of perfection which took me 4 hours a day of practicing with vinyl with a lot of passion that I still have intact although Although I have the vinyls, the mixes today are digital, trying to use some of the wonderful tools that exist and it is a pleasure too. Yes my friends, i am basically a slave to the house rhythm and a DJ for life. Started way back in the very early 90's and have never lost my love of music. Progressed from jumping around like a lunatic in a tent on a regular basis to being a club DJ once the scene had moved into the nightclubs and away from big tent events such as Raindance, Energy, Cryptonite.....if you're old enough to remember lol

Cresciuto artisticamente tra la Dark Music e la psichedelia anglosassone, trova la sua identificazione musicale nel panorama techno e trance legato alla scena Detroit degli anni '90 (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier ecc.). Negli anni 2000 il suo amore per la nuova elettronica e un crescente interesse per la musica house lo indirizzano artisticamente verso la minimal - house e l'electro legata principalmente alla scena tedesca di Berlino; stile musicale influenzato da artisti come Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno ecc. Maturato nella scena underground milanese; oggi è proprietario di un'etichetta discografica indipendente, denominata Habitat Recordings, fondata alla fine degli anni '90 nonché dj di alcuni club milanesi ed europei dove si esibisce anche con la sua crew. Il suo sound profondo e fortemente contaminato, caratterizzato da velocità prossime ai 127 BPM
