About Us Bamboo Rider was born in the autumn of 2010 as a ride wear brand prepared to take responsibility for the impact their products have on the environment. Whether you ride in the ocean, in the mountains or in the urban landscape, whatever your preferred method of expression, protecting the environments we use every day is what we're all about. Our aims and goals are to design products replacing as many environmentally harmful materials as possible, with functional, eco-friendly alternatives, delivering performance, great design, durability, and style in a sustainable way, reducing environmental impact. Although every effort is made to remain completely green in our quest, at some point there has to be compromise and a balance has to be struck between ethics and functionality for our products and brand to succeed. We only select and source materials and products from factories using only renewable energy who are regulated and accredited by the Fair Wear foundation, Soil Association, the Carbon Trust and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). We've carefully selected our printing methods to minimise the impact on the environment by using inks that take less time to cure so they spend less time in the ovens, saving electricity and making use of an in-built filter system to ensure no inks escape into the local environment. Bamboo Rider are passionate about championing unique talent from around the world, supporting riders, photographers, artists, musicians, designers and DJ’s. Raising their profile and bringing attention to their work. We currently have individuals representing the brand from the UK, France, Norway, Switzerland, Ibiza, Australia and New Zealand. We regularly sponsor music and sporting events throughout the UK and Europe. We have a dedicated and passionate social network following on both facebook and twitter, with our fan base spanning the UK, Europe, United States, South America and South East Asia. We work closely with Sports Associations in Scotland and France, such as Snow Sport Scotland and SC Meribel on their quest to develop the countries freshest new talent and regularly sponsor their Ski & Snowboard events. Our DJ’s regularly play parties in some of the top venues around. Headlining our own events and supporting acts including Roger Sanchez, The Dub Pistols, Ed Solo & The Skool of Thought, Darrison, Krafty Kuts, Skitz, A-Skillz , The Free Masons, Duke…the list is endless… Bamboo Rider doesn’t take it’s self as seriously as some others. Marco was born in 1977. He was raised in Edinburgh Scotland's capital city brought up on a diet of clubs and raves and the free party seen, Marco’s first real break came in the late 90’s when he entered the Vestax DJ Mixing Competition which he was runner up in the contest, this raised his profile amongst local promoters. Which lead to him being offered a number of gigs, some of which became residencies, around his home town of Edinburgh and various other towns and Cities in Scotland this also led to him supporting artist like Mr C, Kenny Larkin, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Mathew Herbert, Felix The Housecat, Seb Fontaine, Jim Shaft Ryan, Murray Richardson and Timo Mass. Marco's rise from total obscurity has been achieved due to his natural ability, genuine enthusiasm, and his constant desire to improve his craft.Technical excellence is very important to Marco, so when he is not playing out you will find him practicing, mixing and experimenting with various styles, endeavouring to constantly improve his already very impressive D.J. capabilities. Marco describes his sound as Mainroom Groovy Business a bit of tech a bit of house which meet in the middle some where and the outcome is magical , he mixes in a style that moves and grabs any dance floor, no matter what direction he chooses to take it, once he has captured you with his inventive style there is no escape until he has spun his last tune .Coming straight from the dance floor, Marco knows instinctively what it is a crowd wants, and how to deliver it, his genuine love for music is abundantly clear. JOINT CUSTODY Hallucination LTD, TraumSchallplatten For bookings contact jmorgsl1200@yahoo.com Biography The beauty of Joint Custody lies within the name itself…two individuals coming together for a sole purpose: to share and nurture something far greater than they could alone, while respecting the unique differences and qualities that the other possesses. The commonality of their love for music and their desire to create something special is what brought DJ Matty and Joe Morgan in the studio together, but the journey that each one took before that moment is truly where it all began. DJ Matty’s musical development started as a child but it was in his early teens that he was first exposed to electronic music, although he had to wait till he was old enough to go out before he was able to truly experience what he was so drawn to. From the second he stepped through the doors of his first nightclub he knew where his passion lay. In ‘91 by chance or by fate, whichever you believe, Matty met and befriended now legendary DJ Monk, whose guidance and influence helped spark a now 20 year career. A career which brought him to Studio 54 at 19 years old, a residency at DDJ Three’s Snatch party in Tampa, FL, and the opportunity to play alongside some of the world’s best DJ’s and his greatest influences. Little did Matty know that he would later influence someone that would become an integral part of his own musical experience. Joe Morgan began his DJ career in ‘00 as a scratch DJ for local bands which he continued for several years but it was in ‘01 when he immersed in and fell in love with the Drum N’ Bass scene which catapulted him into electronic music. In ‘07 a new door opened and led him into the world of underground Minimal and Tech House. It was there that local DJ’S such as DJ Three, Bob Skies and DJ Matty inspired Joe to broaden his horizons…and aren’t we glad he did? Although both began producing in ‘00 it wasn’t until ‘07 that Joint Custody was formed. The magic that happened then was a testament to what happens when creativity meets passion. At the ’07 Winter Music Conference Joint Custody played a set debuting many new tracks and it was clear to everyone that was there that their unity would be unstoppable. By late ’07 their first single was signed to Traum Schallplatten out of Cologne, Germany. In ’08 they gained respect and notoriety by their unreleased remix of Audion’s Billy Says “GO” that got play from esteemed DJ’S around the world. Other remixes include projects for Chris Fortier and Sycophant Slags, the collaboration of Mr. C and Adultnapper, and they look forward to upcoming projects with Hallucination Limited, with whom they have also been signed. In the 2 last years they have worked diligently in the studio on countless tracks and on developing their live show which has already proven to be the next entity of Joint Custody which will set them apart from the rest.
