HE IS ONE OF VERY FEW DJs THAT HAS MASTERED & STUDIED THE ART OF REGGAE, DANCEHALL, HIP HOP, R&B, SLOWJAMS, DISCO, FUNK, SKA, ROCK STEADY & HOUSE MUSIC THROUGH RADIO, TELEVISION, CLUB/BASEMENT JAMS & SOUND SYSTEMS.WITH HIS FIRST MUSICAL UPBRINGING FROM THE LATE 70s-EARLY 80s, HE ISA COMPLETE & ACCOMPLISHED DISC JOCKEY IN HIS OWN RIGHT & BEFORE HIS TIME. DJ RHYTHM'S FIRST MUSIC EXPERIENCE WAS WITH HIS FATHER WHO WAS ALSO A UPCOMING DJ/SOUNDMAN. RHYTHM WAS 3 YEARS OLD WHEN HE WAS TAUGHT TO PUT A NEEDLE ON A RECORD. AROUND 1984, HE STARTED PLAYING FOR SMALL PARTIES FOR HIS DAD WHEN COMPANY CAME OVER, THIS DEVELOPED HIS CONFIDENCE & SELF ESTEEM. AT AGE 11, HE TOLD HIS PARENTS OF HIS FUTURE CAREER - RADIO DISC JOCKEY. THIS LEAD TO HIS MOTHER BUYING HIS 1ST BOOMBOX & MAKING UP HIS OWN RADIO SHOWS IN HIS ROOM & ALSO MAKING HIS EARLY SET OF MIXTAPES. RHYTHM RESPECTFULLY LISTENED TO URBAN RADIO PROGRAMS AS A YOUNG BOY & GAINED KNOWLEDGE AND CREATIVITY FROM THESE STATIONS LIKE CIUT 89.5, CKLN 88.1, CHRY 105.5, FM 108, CIAO RADIO 790, WBLK 93.7 & MANY MORE PLUS WATCHED URBAN MUSIC TV SHOWS TO LEARN FROM THEIR TALENTS LIKE ELECTRIC CIRCUS (Monika Deol), SOUL IN THE CITY &RAPCITY(Michael Williams)& X-TENDAMIX (Tony "MASTER T" Young)ALL ON MuchMusic & CITY-TV. HE CREDITS VETERAN RADIO DJs LIKE COLIN VERN (CIAO RADIO 790), DAVID KINGSTON (CKLN 88.1), DURMONT WILLIAMS (CIRV 88.7), P.V. SMITH (CHRY 105.5), WAYNE WILLIAMS (FM 108), BARRY G (RJR), JUNIOR CHUNG (FM 108), PATRICK ROOTS (CIUT 89.5), GARY THOMAS (FM 108) & RON NELSON (CKLN 88.1) AS HIS RADIO INFLUENCES. DURING THE EARLY 90'S, HE STARTED PURCHASING HIS OWN MUSIC ON AUDIO CASSETTES & LEARNED AROUND THIS TIME TO MIX SONGS TOGETHER. IN 1995, HE CREATED "DROP 1 ENTERTAINMENT"FOR MEDIA & RECORDING BUSINESS NETWORKING. HE ALSOFORMED A GROUP WITH PARTNER NASTY NICK CALLED "THE NATION KNIGHTS" WHICH CONSITS OF REGGAE, HIP HOP AND R&B LOCAL ARTISTS. THIS ALSO LED RHYTHM TO BE A UNDERGROUND RAP & REGGAE RECORDING ARTIST. NO SONGS WERE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC, BUT TO THIS DATE, HE HAS RECORDED 9 INDEPENDENT SOLO ALBUMS & HAD A CHANCE TO CREATE A COMPILATION ALBUM FOR HIS GROUP. ALL THIS BETWEEN 1998 TO 2010.DJ RHYTHM HAS PLAYED ON THE ROAD WITH HIS FATHER & HIS SOUND "SWEET MELODY"(WHICH HIS DAD FATHER SOUL CREATED IN 1989) AT VARIOUS BASEMENT JAMS IN BRAMPTON, PLAYING ALONG SIDE LOCAL SOUNDMEN LIKE SPACE INVADER, SOUL II SOUL & OTHERS. RHYTHM'S CAREER DREAM WAS FULFILLED. 9 MONTHS LATER ON SEPTEMBER 30TH 2008, RHYTHM ESTABLISHED HIS OWN INTERNET RADIO STATION THROUGH SHOUTcast.com CALLED UrbanMelodyFM WHICH LED TO HIM CREATING HIS OWN WEBSITE OF THE SAME NAME A YEAR LATER ON NOVEMBER 25, 2009. HIS TITLE "The Multi Versitile Urban DJ" COMES FROM HIS YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE WITH URBAN BLACK MUSIC THAT YOU CAN HEAR IN HIS MIX CDs & RADIO SHOWS .
