Born in the 70's i didn't really kick this off early enough.I ventured from illegal raves into the dance tunes that lit up my nights (piano - vocals - bassline - stompers). Slightly faster than the acid era. I was a lover of 2 clubs (BOWLERS & VENUE). Although went to loads they were my best ever nights.

JaseBadfingerCrawley

I'm Jase Crawley, 45, and I live and work in Manchester in the U of K. I've been buying records since I was 7 / 8 years old and I still haven't grown out of the habit yet. I've been making my own music, remixes, re - edits, and bootlegs for about the last 17 years, and have DJ'd since I was 17. This account represents 5 years worth of my musical output in the form of mostly DJ sets - think it must have close to 500+ mixes now, there's probably close to a hundred original tunes and re - edits etc, and loads of other stuff I've completely forgotten about. I've had 120,000 hits since my first upload to here, so big thanks for all that amazing support. Have a forage bout, and hit play, and see what happens. Hope you find something you enjoy. Jase (AKA Badfinger / JBC) Happy Listening!!!

djleemo
djleemo

DJ Leemo is originally from the UK and in particular the Northwest of England. He spent a lot of his prime years, (early 1990) in Manchester, famous for the worldwide renowned club The Hacienda. Back then the Dance Club scene was still very much an underground scene compared to what we see now. This exposure to the underground club scene is what started his understanding and knowledge as a DJ. bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Sound Lab belt drives ... good huh? lol   but i, and others learnt how to mix on them and were better for having done so as other DJ's, who only ever played on technics couldn't play on anything else lol   i love oldskool ... 92 is probz my fav year though i love to play 93/96 funky house   Though i much prefer playing on the 1210's, i have embraced technology and will happily play on any media (CD's, USB's, Midi Controller or even just stand-alone VDJ)   you can catch me playing online on alternate Sunday's on OSKP Radio from 4-5pm (UK time) www.oskp-radio.com   you can also see videos of my shows on my FB page here https://www.facebook.com/tonydjtstanding main FB profile https://www.facebook.com/DJTonyStanding My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/DJTonyStanding?feature=plcp

I first discovered house music when I was at college in Nottingham. Graeme Park was resident at The Garage Club, and was spinning music which was to shape my life from 16 years old to now... 38 years old.You know the score, a beat a bassline a piano riff a killer synth a hevenly vocal solo... all of these elements push towards this scene, movement , this religion. I purchased my 1210's 21 years ago, and believe it or not they are still mixing sweet as a nut with no repairs made whatsoever, (I could do with some more pop up light bulbs tho). The first instant I heard a second track queing thru my headphones, I was bowled over by a sense of pure ecstacy.Granted I couldn't mix for toffee, but within a few months I was linking tunes for some tidy mixes. I then had a few residencies at clubs around Cumbria, and Yorkshire playing house music to the discening ear, right at the peak of the late 80's early 90's scene. I feel priveledged. Also as an incredibly active clubber, my friends and I hit the best clubs in the country.Always proud to be the first one on the dancefloor, I discovered a greater connection to House music, in the clubbers state of mind, than any connection I had to anything else in my life.I am most comfortable playing US House and Garage, however I love Italian House, Techno, Drum n bass... hang on stop, it's easier for me to say I love it all. A solid beat and i'm on one.I am well aware of the talent surrounding the House Music industry, I embrace it, and will check out as many mixes as I can. If you feel the need to come on a journey, hop on board all welcome. Peace and LoveSMiD

I first started taking an interest in dj'in around 1998 when I was into bouncy house & trance. I often visited a place called the Tram Shed in Halifax which was run by Pete Monsoon. Over the years I watched others mixing and soon picked it up, thus starting my addiction to vinyl. In 1999 I was introduced to the sounds of oldskool house and was hooked from the off. I have since narrowed down my own particular favourite genre - Italian house music for which I have to give thanks to one of the best teachers of the genre I have come across Rich Law AKA Vinylanimal who not only introduced me to italian house but taught me a lot.  Over the years have built up a nice tidy collection. I enjoy a mix of both dj'in and chasing that illusive rare piece of vinyl. Relentlessly searching for unknown obscure italian gems to feed my ever increasing addiction. Over the years I have been lucky enough to dj at some of the north west of Englands most popular events and venues. I am part of a group of friends who love italian house and oldskool music called 'Mash House Productions' feel free to give our mixcloud and youtube page a visit www.mixcloud.com/mashhouse_productionswww.youtube.com/mashhouse
