Sony Vaio laptop, Native Instruments (NI) TRAKTOR Pro, Reloop Digital Jockey II, NI Audio 4-DJ or ESI GIGAPORT HD. A lot of House Music!! Check out DJ Kwik on Fridays from 9 - 11 pm (UTC+7) at www.housemasters-radio.co.uk/ or http://tunein.com/radio/Housemasters-radio-s225094/ DJ Kwik started mixing & DJing in Chicago during the birth of house music in the early '80's. He DJ'd alongside Chicago's legendary DJ Gene Hunt in his basement, at house parties and quite a few local (Chicago Westside) venues. DJ Kwik’s style goes back to his Chicago roots (Frankie Knuckles, Farley “Jackmaster” Funk, Kenny “Jammin” Jason & the Hot Mix 5, Steve “Silk” Hurley and others but also from his time spent DJing in Panama (The Latin House and Hard House sound!!) He is also inspired by some European House Music and DJs. Root/core influences are Chicago's Hot Mix 5, Frankie Knuckles, Steve "Silk" Hurley, the club scene in Panama. My tastes vary but contemporary influences/favorite artists include AFTC, Paul Johnson, TV Rock, Bryon Cox, Dave Armstrong, DJ Sneak, Eddie Amador, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Milk & Sugar, Peter Presta, and, most recently, Stacy Kidd.

2 Technic's 1200's, Allen and heath Xone 3D mixer, Traktor scratch, Reason, Ableton live fully unlocked, 2 Cerwin Vega 12 inch nightclub monitors, QSC amp, Mackie 12 channel mixing board, Oxygen 8 keyboard midi controller, and Pioneer HDJ 1000 headphones. Tons of Electro house, Breaks, Hard house, Techno, Funky house, Acid house, Progressive house, and some old Trance! Louis Benjamin started going to Raves in Denver Colorado back in 1994, when the scene was still underground. Most of the parties back then were in big dirty ware house's. As a party kid Louis fell in love with the scene right away and together with friends started throwing raves in Colorado springs, most of witch were small, until May of 1996 Louis and his friend's Adam and Ryan Mcmenamin threw Eargasm with James christian,NYC, Terry Mullan,Chicago, and Lee Hartel Nomad records seattle. The party was a success 1700 people attended and danced all night. It was during this time Louis purchased his first technics 1200's and began mixing record's, attending parties, and throwing parties getting pointers and influence from the likes of many big name DJ's like DJ Dan, Terry Mullan, Keoki, Hipp-E, Richie Hawtin, Frankie Bones, Bad Boy Bill, Kimball Collins, Sasha, John Digweed, Dave seaman, Tall Paul Newman, Dave Aude, and many others. In 1997 Louis became a resident DJ at a smile club in Vail, Colorado called Nicks, it was a dump of a club but Louis packed it every Wednesday and Friday night for about two years. Unfortunately that scene fizzled out, so Louis stayed and enjoyed a decade of snowboarding all the while spinning records in his bedroom until now. Now Louis is a new transplant in the San Diego area hoping to storm the scene once again!! Hopefully I will see you soon! -L Again....DJ Dan, Terry Mullan, Keoki, Kimball Collins, Bad Boy Bill, Richie Hawtin, Frankie Bones, Sasha, John Digweed, Dave seaman, Tall Paul Newman, Dave Aude, and sevral others.

Keeping it basic: two Technics 1200-MKII decks, a Denon X-100 mixer, and 12" VINYL records. I'm not against serrato or CDs, but being able to touch the analog grooves is one of main reasons I think DJing is fun. Soul food. I've been DJing since I saw someone playing with a pair of turntables and vinyl records for the first time, about 9 years ago. At that moment I knew I needed to get my own pair of decks. I started out spinning trance and techno for a couple of years, but when I moved to Chicago I largely abandoned trance and my journey into house music began in earnest. I found myself drawn funky, soulful, uplifiting, disco-influenced tracks. I've drawn much of my inspiration from the disco-era roots of house music and the sounds coming from Chicago and New York in the late seventies through the mid eighties, but I collect and mix many styles of house on vinyl. Find out more at myspace.com/discohelmut If it sounds good, it is good. House is about love.

Technics 1200's, Pioneer CD players, Serato Scratch Stashuk (real name: Stan Shatkin) has always been a big fan of music - listening to anything from Pink Floyd to Wu Tang Clan, from Victor Tsoi to Sasha & Digweed, from Coldplay to Danny Tenaglia. He was especially influenced by the rapid rise of the underground music scene in New York City which peaked during the famous Sasha and Digweed residency at Twilo. Those were the times of exploration, understanding and appreciation. At that time Stashuk started messing around with a music software called “Rebirth”. Appropriately enough it was a “rebirth” of his musical expression, which pushed him to start sharing his music with others. One of these people was Daniel Yarovoy. The two started sharing ideas and organizing dance music parties in a NYC venue called Nightingale Lounge. Soon after Daniel realized that there was a need to let Stashuk and other DJs/Producers to share their music with the rest of the world, and created a record label under the name of “Polarlight Records”. The first release was a compilation called “Soul Reflection”, named after one of Stashuk’s three tracks included on the CD. While continuing to work on his music Stashuk has always been open to collaborating with other musicians. One day while checking out some keyboards at the local Guitar Center he ran into a pianist named Travis Lemmons. Travis was a self-taught musician who had an unbelievable talent for coming up with melodies. The two started working together and during a relatively short period of time created a good CD worth of material. Later some of this material would make it to Stashuk’s debut artist album. While the two were working on their tracks there was always a glaring void – lack of quality vocals. So Stashuk went on a journey to find a good vocalist to work with. Having collaborated with four or five people, he finally ran into a brilliant vocalist and musician named Inga. The way he found her was funny in itself. He googled “Victor Tsoi” to learn some chords from one his biggest influences, and one of the results in Google returned Inga’s “myspace” page. After listening to her songs he was immediately blown away. After contacting Inga and sending her some of his work with Travis, the three started working together. The results were catchy, melodic songs with Inga’s beautiful vocals. Up to date Stashuk’s music has been featured on 3 CDs, a feature film, a TV cable show and a radio show. Look out for his debut artist album which will be released on Polarlight Records in 2008. In the meantime, Stashuk is continuing to work on fresh material and DJ throughout NYC, Chicago and Miami. He initially found interest in underground Hip Hop, Reggae and Latin freestyle. Back then, spinning at friends house parties for fun were Gaetano first experiences with turntables. After seeing great reactions at the house parties Gaetano decided to take it to the next level and started pursuing the nightclubs to let him showcase his skills. At the age of 18 he received his first residency at Alley Cat nightclub in New Haven, CT. While spinning at Alley Cat. Gaetano started to experiment with the style of music that was new to him at the time House music. He noticed that it was this style of music that not only moved the crowds and created a positive club atmosphere, but also opened up his horizons. Getting serious about his music, Gaetano began investing money into studio equipment, so he could try to emulate the same sounds that were coming from his records. Continuing with the club residency, Gaetano also started spinning at local raves, experimenting with more sub-genres of electronic music. There, after networking with fellow DJs and producers, more gigs started pouring in. Continuing with hard work and persistence, a few years down the road, Gaetano found himself spinning at the Miami Winter Music conference. Fast forward to 2010, Gaetano continues to hone his skills in the studio and in the DJ booth, constantly recording new mixes and original tracks. What can be certain after all these years – dance music is still his true love. ; ; ; ; Bs As Deep,Facundo Mohr,Maindave,D-Phrag,Frangellico,Hernan Cattaneo,Martin Garcia, Marcello Vasami,Sound Process,Bobby Deep,Santiago Deep,RPO, MainDave, Kintar, Dario Nunez, Victor Calderone, Hugo Rizzo, Chus & Ceballos, Luca Ricci etc etc etc and the list goes on =)

Format - Vinyl Turntables - 3x Technics SL-1210's & 1x Technics SL-1200 Mixer - Pioneer DJM-600 ... SjS aka Daren Hewitt is a helpless vinyl junkie & obsessive dj currently living in Portsmouth on the South Coast of the UK, with his cat and best friend 'Pants'. Straitjacket Soul has played out in underground bars & clubs all over the South of England and London...recently appeared as a guest dj for two top radio stations in the UK's other largest cities - Manchester & Birmingham, & in September 2007 has been asked to do a weekly 60 min resident slot for a radio show based in Chicago. The brutal honesty and twisted passion for rare, quality, off centre, dance music carved out in his recent SjS mixes are not only now starting to catch the eye of one or two well respected djs, artists and producers, the stench of some very positive comments are seriously beginning to waft out of the gutters, drains, sleazy backstreets and shady alleyways of Amsterdam, Paris, New York and Miami. His sets are made up of a backbone of quality house music ranging from deep, acid house, jackin' Chicago house right through to soulful, tribal and gospel house. He is also well known throughout the South Coast for playing diverse eclectic sets that include rare soul, raw funk, afrobeat, breakbeat, underground jazz, indie, punk, latin and disco. In his own words "There's only two kinds of music - good and bad, so just stick it on ya plate n' lick it!" He is influenced by artists such as The Freaks, Stevie Wonder, Troydon, Kasabian, Curtis Mayfield, The Jam, Leroy Hutson, The Lawnchair Generals, The Clash, Terry Callier, Jose Feliciano, MAW, Kinky Movement, Inland Knights, Ray Charles, The Voices Of East Harlem and Crazy P. His favourite Dj's include Derrick Carter, Justin Long, Scud Bloom, Mark Farina, Dan X, Ron Hardy, Bryan Jones, Rob Mello, Honey Dijon, Phil Weeks, Larry Levan, Jessie Rose, Dr Bob Jones, Miles Maeda, Leo Elstrob, Bill Brewster, Norman Jay, Keb Darge, Dave Mancuso, John Peel, Paul 'Trouble' Anderson and Gilles Peterson. His favourite labels are Dotbleep, MFF, Classic, Drop Music, 2020Vision, Tango, Phonoshuffle, Control US, Aroma, Amenti, Ringside, Jalapeno, Funk Weapons, Paper Recordings and Barely Breakin Even.

Ableton Live & VSTs, Evolution UC-33, Presonus Firebox, Traktor DJ Studio,... Born in the year 1982. His real name is Josip Kriznic and with his brother Antonio Kriznic he forms the producing duo Double System Project. He was aquainted with music in an early age by his parents, who were also musicaly active. During his student years in Split, his father played the keyboards in the Academical Band. Qub's mother was a talented singer and participated in many talent shows, achieving high results. His musical journey continued in his primary school, where he had to learn how to play the electronic keyboards because that was the study plan in his school. He had no problems dealing with that because he knew that music will have a big influence on his life. His enthusiasm over the electronic keyboards was present at home as well, many times he played a tune or two for his family. His growing up years were acompanied with many different genres of music, ranging from rock to punk, from rap to dance. Anywhere he turned, music was allways present. Then came the ground braking year 1995 when his brother came home with a mixtape of electronic music. He realised that this sound was what he was searching for and the sound was called Techno. His musical tendencies turned towards electronic beats. Days, weeks and months passed and he was discovering and learning more and more things. Everything led up to the point where, in the year 1997, he and his brother Antonio decided to start producing their own music. The Double System Project was born. They produced mostly hard, minimal Techno with influences from World known DJ's, such as Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Sven Vaeth, Surgeon, Regis, Dave Clark,... At first they played on smaller private parties. In the year 2003 Qub meets a Slovenian DJ Gumja and they join his organisation Sound of New Millenium (S.o.N.m.). As members of S.o.N.m. they started their breakthru in the Slovenian Techno sceene. They presented their music in clubs Africa (Trebnje), Labirint (Ilirska Bistrica), Simfonija (Planina pri Uncu), Martin Krpan (Maribor), K4 (Ljubljana), MC Velenje,... In 2004 they become active members of the organisation Tehnologika from Velenje, and they introduce their music on parties in their home town. They participated on the documentary »Shall we play hide and seek«, a project of one of the Slovenian political parties. Beside the Double System Project, Qub tries out his producing skills on other genres, such as House, Electro, Ambiental and Downtempo. He established that House music is food for his soul and Techno food for his body. Qub's big wish from the start was to release his own record and to establish a record label. In 2006 he got his chance and he signed a record deal with Fade Out Records from Croatia for the release Magnetic EP. His future plans involve producing House, Electro and Tech-House, to carry over to the audience good vibrations and positive thoughts. Yello, Yazoo, Regis, Surgeon, Space DJz, , Adam Beyer, Sven Veath, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Depeche Mode, Joey Yungman, Mario Fabriani...
