DJ Kidd Kurrupt was born on Dec 8,1987 in LaPlata Maryland.At the tender age of ten I started dj'ing for the very first time in June 1,1998 at a underground reggea bashment an after my first gig I was hooked. I found out at a young age that I had a ear for music and a talent for mixing differnt genres of music like old school hip hop,reggae, and funk. My father was a DJ at the time also and he noticed that I was practicing on the turntables every chance that I got. My father started me off with a few gigs on saturdays at local block parties during the summer time.After a few gigs I started to make a name for myself in the neighborhood as the young kidd that can put it down on the turntables. A few years went by and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt started to get more shows and a large following in the underground reggeaton scene and techno raves. I soon started to draw hundreds of people to my live sets. One day I met a club promoter while networking at a local mall, the two exchanged numbers and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt invited him out to watch him perform at a show. When the club promoter saw the way I showed my skills, worked the crowd, and my ablilities with mixing and scratching; he decided to give me- this young and upcoming DJ a chance to spin at one of the biggest dance clubs in Maryland at the time. I play all forms of trance music like uplifting trance, vocal trance,progressive trance and psy trance.I also play wide variety of music such as oldschool/newschool Hiphop, R&B, Soul, Nu-Soul, Funk, Oldies electro, dubstep, Rap, Underground Hiphop, Reggae, Culture Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Culipso, Ragga, Ragga Jungle, tech house and technomusic. I can alos mix it up with Trance, Techno, Dance, Reggeaton, Salsa, Dirty South Rap, and Hindu music! My dj name is Culchie, Im based in Kilkee, County Clare on the West Coast of Ireland. This is my main podcast page for archived and premiere's of my weekly 1 hour shows titled "DreamState" which gets aired twice on Wheee F.M.(www.wheee.fm/cms), an E.D.M. station based in Munich, Germany, and has monthly audience figures of 5,000 people. I also have the show syndicated on other various podcasts and stations. After serving ten long hard years in the British army I managed to fall right into the middle of what was known as the underground rave scene in 1992.A very good friend of mine introduced me to Martin P who was running a very large drum and bass night at the( Rivermead Sports Centre) holding up to six thousand ravers in Reading.This production was called (Swing Big Time Promotions )held nights such as Red October One and Two hosting very big names such as DJ Carl Cox, Grooverider, MickyFinn, Sl2, Randall, Ltj Bookham etc - to be honest the list is to long to mention. I got to meet and speak with these gods and they inspired me to become a DJ . After mastering the tools required, I was signed to an agency who provide DJ’s for well-known outdoor events.The first production I was involved with was the fabulous (Universe Productions )who had hosted the many great outdoor rave scene involving up to twenty thousand people having the best time known to man dancing through to the end of the weekend every week. Universe then moved on up in the scene and founded in what I think was the best club night ever.And yes, not unless you have guessed, the Famous( Club UK )in Wandsworth, London. DJ’s were queuing to get into this Venue to play along side myself ,Trevor rockliffe, Gailsan, Brenda Russell, Colin Favour, Carl Cox, Mark EG, Colin Dale, Billy Nasty, Alien Trax ,(Paul Curtis and Max Amino) ,Lab 4, Pendragon (Beamish,oboren) . After the closure of (CLUB UK) (in fact the Police closed down!) I left to move to sunny Bournemouth to get involved in the club scene by the sea.Well what a shock! It wasn’t just London HAVING IT - it was every were I went! During my long stay in Bournemouth I was invited to host a two hour show on( KFM 106.7) which I did for a year, playing in most of the venues up to as far as the (country club )in Yeovil. During my long stay I had the pleasure working alongside Bob Povey, Si and Seth Sanjez, Martin the Hat, Chris Hare and Northern Roy, Mark EG, Billy Nasty,and Tony devits little haunt club(Sub bass vip.)After leaving Bournemouth I ended in north Devon playing for the very best (LEGENDS Productions), providing superb club nights in Bideford, Westward HO and Barnstable,And outdoor events especially the Eclipse moon party. I would like to thank all the DJ’s who played for( Legends )John OO Fleming, The Great Tony Devit, Billy Nasty, Mark EG, Chris Liberator and Trevor Rockliffe,and Lisa pin up. MASSIVE thanks to Paul,and Nigel,for Providing a massive scene for the west country. After leaving Devon I moved to Hampshire were I opened my own record shop with my son Adam aka Buzzbee.( Fat Boy records) , I had a very good time running the shop but still missed the hard paced life I had lived. The love of music has never died in me and now at the age of forty three I am learning the production side and making my own sounds so now this is a closure of an old venture into a new one - the rebirth of( FATBOYUK.)

The Beatfreeks birth name is John Pleece and he was born on the eve of July, and is currently residing in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, United Kingdom. He was introduced to music at a fairly young age, when John was growing up his Dad used to play bass guitar, write and perform backing vocals in his own band, also his Dad used to be part of a DJ duo, playing out at weddings and parties and John helped out with the setting up of the rig, and this is how The Beatfreeks story began. John has been mixing records for near enough 14 years now and he is a self-taught vinyl DJ, originally mixing Drum & Bass, Techno and Trance, and although The Beatfreek is still a vinyl connoisseur at heart, he felt that is was time to make the switch over to a digital DJ set up. The Beatfreek has also been known under other aliases such as Psyvibes, DJ JT and Jonny P. Under his Jonny P moniker, he had held various radio residencies with regular live shows per week. It was tough to keep to the schedule but his drive, determination and a passion for fresh music kept him going, you could say that music was his drug of choice. The Beatfreek also Co-founded, Co-owned a digital only record label: Thee Unknown Recordings, and he also ran his own internet radio station too. Finally he ran his digital record label alongside Tyler Deveneaux and in later days Solace One, but due to personal issues beyond their control the label was eventually dis-banded. Label History: Thee Unknown Recordings was a digital only record label, releasing electronic music in various dance music genres. The project was originally thought up way back in late 2008 by two friends Tyler Deveneux, and Jonny Teknotik (who would later be re-named Jonny P). These two friends had shared a mutual interest in countless music genres, so it made perfect sense that these two friends eventually formed a musical partnership. When Thee Unknown Recordings was in it`s fledgling year they were simply named Thee Unknown. Thee Unknown was the chosen persona of the duo's musical partnership, with Tyler supplying the duos tracks and Jonny was the duos DJ, DJing under the name Jonny P, and playing out live with residencies on various radio stations. The duos passion for fresh music grew, and they decided to branch out and approach budding producers with the intention to set up their own record label, and this is how Thee Unknown Recordings was born. Present Day: After his record label and radio station closed it's doors, The Beatfreek has thrown himself back into his mixing. He now concentrates on experimenting and mixing with Hard Trance, Techno, Drum & Bass, and all things psychedelic. On a final note Jonny has also ventured into the world of producing, producing Drum & Bass and Techno, and is also the Co-Owner and in-house DJ of a new experimental record label: THB Records which he now runs with his brother. A dj from perth still doing it old school with a mixer and two vinyl decks some people may say I should move with the time times. But it is my ultimate fave way to dj you cant beat the feel of good old trusty vinyl in my eyes. Oh and no fancy mixers with all these effects I play tunes how they were produced and meant to be heard best way in my opinion. Well to add to this these days I am now using Traktor a lot more than I thought but still sticking with my old school vibe of using my vinyl turntables and using time coded vinyl to mix with due to being unable to keep up with being able to afford vinyl and having the space to store it as well, this is due to me studying my Bsc in Audio Engineering thankfully I am in my last year now. http://soundcloud.com/dj_raul
