Brian Ashby-Stroup - aka BriBoy - started making music on computers in the mid-1980's. His first DJ gig was at a friend's party in 1993 and became a keen raver soon after. By 2001 he was a DJ in the Las Vegas club scene, as well as producing original tracks for a bootleg dance video game. He moved to Los Angeles as the EDM scene was about to take off, started spinning trance tunes, remixing, and producing his own original music. Now living in Ohio, he is focused on producing original dance music and getting it out to dance floors across the globe. El Schabat Started with vinyl ...100% vinyl of course ;-). after some mixing experience and fun fun fun I started doing this with midi-controllers sending messages programming days and night untill it worked and did what I want them to do! via allen & heath's xone 2d xone 1d and a xone 42 in between. Novations launchpad and its LED give visual feedback from traktor pro 2 status. I am happy to see the new allen &heath k2 in february 2012. have fun with the mixes and thx for your feedback 4/4 and never stop this! el schabat ( ... ? ... )

A bit of everything really. I love everything from Rock to Punk. First love is Progressive House. Starting to get back into the Progressive Trance side of things again. There are a lot of tunes coming out at the moment that are just genius. Hard to stick to one sound so expect lots of different genre mixes..!! Hey, Im 24 and from Ireland. His Dj name comes from his profession; Neon crafter and tubular glassblower (one of the 14 in The Netherlands) & electric signmaker. He's a Dj of the 1st-generation. Dj Neonglass made his first steps in mixing on age 14 (1977),before that he was a "talking Dj" (compared with a "radio Dj'', as many Dj's where in that days) He was “working” with some friends every friday evening on a Drive-inn disco, called “Disco Skylab” in a youth centre called: “Openluchtschool” (O.L.S)”, in The Hague. They also had an illegal F.M Radio stations called “Skylab Radio, Skyline Radio,Tempo Radio”. Then he saw in a local disco called “De Marathon” the Dj mix two records together. Fortunately one of his friends knew more about mixing.He started mixing with 2 MARANTZ record players with pitch-control. Inspired by his discovery,he began to create customised pause button mixes on his big reeel taperecorder (later cassette) as he realised that certain records could be made more suitable for the dance floor, if they wen given a slight twist of extension. At the age of 16 he was asked to play at several Clubs as a guest Dj. Mixing was in that time very special and also all Clubs had "talking Dj's" in that time. One of his friends he “worked” in the Drive-inn Disco with is now known as Atlantic Ocean a.k.a Dj Lex van Coeverden (World Hit Single Waterfall & Waterfall 2009). In 1984 he stopped mixing, so he had time to found his own Neonsign- factory. After 24 years not being mixing and Dj-ing, he took some Mixing lessons in youthcentre “BAZART” also located on the grounds of the former O.L.S, the place where it in 1977 all began. When he’s started his Mixing lessons,he noticed that there was a lot of changed in the DJ equipment. He decided to quit mixing with vinyl and go for the new technological tools now like mixing with 2 CD players with pitchcontrol. Nowerday's he's a Resident Dj @ several radio stations. He startet already at the age of 16 in greece where he premiered at a tiny bar called spinning records. But his later move to Germany for study reasons didn’t leave him much time for his spinning hobby. So that by the end of 2010, he decided to connect again full contact – various big scale events invited him to perform: greenkom cgn, rudeboy cgn, 321festival netherlands, Blue-Onyx club hamburg, Club 136° Hamburg and inches frankurt are only the start yet. His sets are influenced by various styles as there are for example techhouse, tribal, and progressive, while electro and trance elements are his icing on the cake. Costa Colorados Germany career started in October 2011 at the Blue-Onyx afterhour club (fabulous events). A week later, the management of Green Komm Cologne booked him right away for December 2011. Shortly later, again, the management of an upcoming big scale festival in the netherlands invited him to perform. Those two bookings mark the high so far, let’s see where Costa Colorado gets next. Now, in 2012, Costa Colorado plans to update his vibe some more into the direction of electro and trance. He will also focus on producing his own tracks. His ever-growing community of fans can’t wait to hear more from him.
