I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

VDJ JD is a nationally recognized and globally recognized DJ / Remixer / Producer of various forms of country music. Joshua Duerksen (VDJ JD) the V is for video, growing up in the Mid-West and California in the JD’s musical influences range from Classic Rock and Country to Hip Hop and 90’s Dance. He has been quoted stating. “Good music knows, no genre” After completing his high school education, JD joined the United States Navy serving his country for ten years. While stationed in Norfolk Virginia he met several DJ influences who mentored him and taught him the foundations of the different aspects of DJing. While not on deployment in the Navy he practiced improving his mixing skills and performance skills as a Club DJ, Mobile DJ, and Dive Bar DJ. After the Naval service, he moved to Idaho and opened a mobile disc jockey entertainment company. Providing DJ services to weddings, birthday parties, and school dances. In 2009 he started working for XMiX DJ Music Pool as a video editor taking the great remixes and edits produced by the talented editors and producers at XMiX. Then re-editing the music videos around the remix, making it easier for Video DJ’s to mix music videos. While in this role he honed his audio editing skills learning to build audio edits and remixes. JD's audio edits have been used in nationality syndicated country mix shows and around the world anywhere, where country music is played.

Music has been a place of inner peace and I hope you enjoy my sharing of it! Born and Raised in NYC and now in the ATL. I have been mixing since I was 14 years old. As a young fella I can remember watching DJ Starski, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, DJ The Red Alert to name a few hooking their equipment to the lamp poles in the parks in the South Bronx and Harlem it was on. The MCs were hyping or moving the crowd for the Deejays. When I moved from the Bronx to Queens, I joined the Gemini Crew and I was DJ Johnny Quick on the 1 and 2 with the cross fader. My Dad owned a night club in Brooklyn, so music was everywhere. As I got older and started going to the club scene in NYC there was one DJ that was such a technician and I often called him a Scientist the Legendary DJ Larry Levan famous for the Paradise Garage. He told a story when he mixed -- depending on current events, highs and lows in the City. As a DJ we must feel the mode and pulse on the crowd and provide them with a theme...

Born in august 1969, DJ Pascal has always had a true passion for music. Since a young age - let’s say as soon as he was able to hold a 7” record in his hand - he was the one at home who had to put the records on the turntable and play them. So his mum says… In the beginning there was… The radio The story starts in the Summer of 1982 when he gets the opportunity to visit the studio of a local radio station. Mesmerized by this universe, he starts to host shows on different local radios. His adventure in the world of radio stations will go on for almost 10 years. Even though it has not much to do with mixing, it really carved him out a solid musical background and knowledge. First spin... At about 15, he discovers a new sensation when friends ask him to deejay at their birthday parties. Well let’s be honest, at this point, it is closer to “play records” than mixing, really… In 1987, he contacts one of the biggest events company in Braine-l’Alleud, the city where he lives. At this time, they need deejays for all kind of events, parties, weddings, etc. So they offer him the opportunity to start working for them from time to time. And so it all begins… In da club... In the late 80’s, he gets his first experience mixing in a club, La Belle Alliance, as a replacement dj. Kind of different than mixing for private parties, just as fun but way more exciting! 1990-1992: He works for the first time as resident DJ in a club called J.C. Club in Brussels. 1994-1997: He starts to work in the club Arc-En-Ciel, near Waterloo. 1998-2001: Paradox, a gay club in Ghent. 2001-2003: L’Espace 80 (The 80’s room of the Palladium in Baisy-Thy). 2003-2004: L’EXM in Walhain. 2006 up to this day: Le Rétro in Plancenoit, near Waterloo. Along those years, he never stopped improving his skills to mix flawlessly the pure disco from the late 70’s, as well as the music from the 80’s (his teenager years!) Nevertheless, Dance, House, Deep House, Trance, Progressive or even Retro House are some of his favorite styles. Beside the exclusive edits that he realizes for his performances, DJ Pascal also started since 2013 to remix some 80’s classics and even started to compose original tracks. More than ever, music is his force, his passion, his life. To be continued…
