Music has always been part of my life, and I've been around for quite awhile now. i started djing back in high school at 14 but my love of music started when i was 5. ive played everywhere from house parties to clubs and even radio and will play anywhere the music takes me. this is a journey i started long ago and no matter where i am this is my passion. so sit back and take a ride with me and enjoy the music. Since I was very young like 7yrs old, I remember being pulled by music sounds and mixes they did in the 70s,but in 83' all it took was for my friend to lend me his turntables and boom box, started DJn in 85 and the rest has been a wonderful trip in the mix. Bboying and Chicago house trax became my influence while living in the U.S. Now, here in my country of Guatemala City in Central America, I will continue getting on the ones and twos and produce, as well as help or collaborate with whomever is interested in working with me. I've been in the game for a numerous amount of years spinning anything and everything depending on what occasion or what my crowd vibes to. Old school, New school, Hip hop, House, Reggae, Dubstep, Jungle, Go-Go, Jazz and everything in between.. However I'm no jukebox or Ipod... My vibes flow from the heart and the mood I'm in, period... I won the Cleveland Mixmaster Massacre in 1996 in the Tightest blends category . Music is universal and the same ole radio stuff is just so scripted.. I don't create a playlist before a set I mainly freestyle the beats to flow accordingly... I've been the resident Dj at Cleveland's Magic City for nearly 17 years now.. The music has changed very much from mainly seductive sexually oriented to twerk, trap. ratchet and hood genres.. It gets monotonous at times because of the close mindedness of the girls. However it's about the $$$. Sometimes I feel as though I've sold my craft to the devil for a few bucks... Lol But I must be doing something right ,still spinning my stuff. There is so much good music out here with a variety of listeners who enjoy a different flow that is stifled by these "quote unquote" same sounding artists with no lyrical content,, IJS "Don't get stuck on the same musical content" Life is Music So Live It To The Fullest.. Peace Gotta find time to drop a couple mixes on here for my peeps soon..
