My name is Geo, I have been DJ’ing for more than 20 years. Started off uploading mixes over MSN messenger to my friends and its went from there! During college / university I won 2 DJ competitions, one of which was using CDs for the first time, this landed me a small little interview in a DJ Magazine!I have now played various corp events, weddings and even provided a gym chain in New Zealand with a weekly mix for their classes.Life took over for a bit there, and now as of Jan 2025 dipping my toes back into the world of Mixing! I started making bedroom mixes in 1983 with a MAC and a double tape deck.In 1993 I was on the radio, broadcasting to Nottingham for 6 years as DJ Lazy.I started playing Nottingham clubs in 1994 and set up a night called Twist.In 2004 I teamed up with El Carlos and created Jump Shake Rattle & Roll in Birmingham.I play old skool rave and hardcore, jungle and drum n bass,techno and acid, deep and classic house, breakbeat, hip hop and electro.Full archive and tracklistings on my website purplenoiz.co.uk
